PACKAGE 2

BRAND DESIGN

Timeframe: 5–10 weeks
$3,500*

A more comprehensive approach that goes beyond the logo to create a full visual identity system that’s flexible and future-proof. Alongside logo exploration and refinement, this package includes competitor analysis, brand personality definition, colour palette development, typography hierarchy, supporting graphics (patterns/illustrations), and a set of brand guidelines.

*Final costs may vary if the project scope is complex or requires additional work beyond the outlined inclusions.
the process -
  • 1. Competitor Analysis & Research

Examine the competitive landscape to understand visual trends, tone of voice, and what’s resonating in the market. Define the target audience and clarify the brand’s personality traits, which will guide design decisions across the identity.

  • 2. Concept Development

Explore early creative directions through sketches, wordmarks, symbols or icon ideas. Experiment with different logo compositions (symbol-driven, type-based, or illustrative) to test what resonates.

  • 3. Typography & Mood

Investigate typefaces that balance brand personality with legibility. Develop mood boards to capture the overall visual world, including colour palettes, patterns, illustration styles, and textures.

  • 4. Logo Concepts

Develop 1–2 strong design routes that represent different creative directions. Explore complementary colour palettes and style attributes that could extend into packaging, marketing, or digital environments.

  • 5. Collaborative Review

Present concepts for feedback, weighing what aligns best with the brand vision and intended audience. Gather input and suggestions to refine the creative direction.

  • 6. Refinement of Direction

Evolve the chosen concept into a polished identity - refining typography, balancing colour, and finessing details. Several adjustment rounds may be included to ensure alignment and confidence in the result.

  • 7. Full Visual Identity System

Expand the approved direction into a complete brand toolkit. This typically includes logo variations (primary, secondary, icon), a defined colour palette, typography hierarchy, and key supporting graphics such as patterns, illustrations, or textures.

  • 8. Final Review & Adjustments

Present the full brand system for feedback, fine-tune details, and ensure everything translates cohesively across different applications.

  • 9. Final Delivery

Package and deliver the complete set of brand assets in all required formats, along with supporting guidelines where relevant.

Working with GAZE to design our packaging labels was hands down the best decision we made. Rochelle went above and beyond to make sure the printed designs turned out perfectly and explained things along the way that we hadn't considered (screen printing vs label printing, eyemarks, regulatory additions, the list goes on!). Communication and turnaround times were so fast, the entire project was just a breath of fresh air compared to other service providers we've come across. I'll recommend Gaze to everyone who needs a graphic designer.

I had the pleasure to work with Rochelle Tyson for 5 years as a graphic designer. Rochelle is a very talented designer, she writes copy well and is a pleasure to work with. Always on the job and does things in very good time, with great attention to detail and creativity. She always interpreted my ideas into design, with much better ideas than my brief.

  • Why do I need a logo?

A well-designed logo builds trust by validating your professionalism and get's people to stick around. It tells potential clients who you are, what you do, and how that benefits them. It communicates to people with no prior knowledge or experience with your business that you do great work.

A unique website experience nurtures loyalty and trust. Drives consistency, which in turn promotes familiarity and trust among your target customers.

  • What formats will I receive my logo in?

You will recieve your logo in formats compatible with both print and web applications. We supply the following file formats:

    • PDF
    • EPS
    • PNG

If you require your logo in a different format to the above, please let us know and we can send this to you.

  • Can't I just DIY my own logo in Canva?

The logo is in most cases the singular and most important visual identifier for a brand. It is crucial for this signifier to be custom, unique, clear and appealing. To achieve all these things, much time and thought needs to go into the creation of a logo.

While Canva is a powerful resource, it should not be relied upon to develop something as important as a logo. Your logo will be at the forefront of your brand at all times and should effectively communicate everything consumers need to know about your brand in an instant. If your brand logo is not adequately representing your brand or looks similar to another existing brand, this can be harmful to business and reputation. First impressions matter and it only takes about 0.05 seconds for people to form an opinion about your brand.
